Alison Gray

Research, review, reflect

The services I offer are:

  •  Report writing and editing.
  • Support with developing evaluation and monitoring frameworks
  • Literature reviews
  • Preparing background papers for policy development
  • Evaluation and review

I have been engaged in research and evaluation in New Zealand and the Pacific for many years.

I like to think strategically and enjoy pulling together key points from diverse material. Writing clear, concise reports is one of my strengths and I can produce reports for different audiences from raw material or from early drafts. I regularly prepare background papers and undertake literature reviews.

I have a strong interest in participatory evaluation which focuses on learning as well as assessment, is useful to funders, providers and other stakeholders, and recognises the shared interest of all parties.

I enjoy working independently as well as collaboratively and relish the challenge of cross cultural work.  In fact, I operate as comfortably in the outer islands of the Solomon Islands as I do from my office desk, and am equally happy working with community agencies, NGOs and government organizations.
